dot was right?

November 23, 2010

I don’t know if I’ve ever felt more done.
The wheels have been turning
for so long, but they’ve run out
of things to grab on to.  There isn’t
anything that can light up the sky or
warm the soul.  The excitement is
gone, things have changed, and as much
as I want to believe that people are good
and appreciation is there, maybe it’s
just time to stop trying,
look to the beauty of the future,
and move on.

  1. Don't ask... Says:

At the darkest of times, there is light in this world. Beauty and talent and trust. Inspiration, fire, and faith. Hope. Love. And there is always appreciation– those who watch from the sidelines, unnoticed, and appreciate nonetheless.

Take this advice from someone who stopped trying.

    Never stop trying.

I did, and it was the biggest mistake of my life.

There is light in this world at the darkest of times. There is beauty and goodness and hope. Inspiration, fire, and faith. And there are always people who appreciate; who watch from the sidelines; remain unknown.

Take this advice from someone who stopped trying.

    Never stop trying.
