i just can’t decide?

February 8, 2010

Last night, I slept wearing my Snuggie, with my pants tucked into my tube socks. Does that make you hot?

In unrelated news, I’ve decided you don’t really know me until you know the following fact. It is a fact that has shaped who I am as a person since the moment of my conception… awkward.

Ever since, I can’t really remember, my favorite snack has been Ramen Noodles. However, the effort and emotional suffering caused by getting the pan out, filling it with water, waiting for the water to boil, putting the noodles in, stirring them, and adding the spice packet are difficulties that I am often too afraid to dare face. That’s more tiring than walking home from school carrying a textbook – an act which obviously necessitates multiple water breaks and stretching both beforehand and afterhand.

So what’s the solution to my problem? I eat them raw.

I take the orange plastic rectangle, place it on the granite counter, hit it with my fist to break up the mass of starchy goodness, pour it in a bowl, add the spice crap if I’m feeling daring, and dig in, beginning by eating the larger chunks like a sandwhich, then either using a spoon or struggling with dirty hands to eat the crumbs.

The thing is, I prefer them raw to cooked now. There’s nothing like it. It’s a delicious snack, and I exhort you to give it a try.

Don’t be hating, please.

  2. ramen noodles are the best.
One time, after I had some raw, i tried pouring the whole “spice” thing in my mouth at once.
Not sure if you’ve tried that. But if you havent, dont.
i felt like i had put a salty version of the sahara desert in my mouth.
and you gotta watch out for that monosodium glutamate.
    it can kill you.
